Letting Go of What You Want for What is Best

As a married woman, I want my focused to be on my family (because I love them) ...My husband and my son, as a wife, a mother and a homemaker. A Christ centered family as my aspiration. So, to fulfill it, I have to give up a single life and set priorities. This includes minimizing time with friends, parties, and activities outside home. but not to the point of giving up my job since I am not yet ready for now, but hopefully soon so I can be a full-time homemaker...

My happiness is to see my family happy, healthy, comfortable and have a relationship with God.

There's a lot of things to be done in order to fulfill this goal. I know I’m not good in planning but I need to do something. I need to be intentional and inspired in
this journey of true womanhood and a homemaker.

Virtue of a noble woman:

Proverbs 31:26-28 she speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed and her husband also and he praises her.

KNOW YOUR PRIORITIES AND MAKE TIME FOR IT

Now, as I am in the evaluation on how I will fulfill lovingly my duties as a homemaker, I have to take down my goals as a reminder on how I should plan my day...
Here they are:

Proverbs 16:9 The heart of a man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his step
  • Spending quality time with:
    • Jesus
    • Family
    • Husband (alone)
    • Son (alone)
  • Creating our home a haven (A clean and clutter free home, a place where members of the family enjoys, feeling safe and secure that make them feel" There's no place like home")
  • A healthy meal (If the body is well, the soul dances)
  • managing Family Finances (Being a wife, we are our husband's helper, so every little cent count. We should make a way to secure it.)
I should need to get done something in a day until this will become my routine.

I CHALLENGE YOU:
  • Have you set down recently to evaluate your priorities?
  • Did you take down notes of what you want and need to do?
You can share it down in the comment box and let’s inspire each other :)
